This is activated charcoal, pure and simple. It is used in one of the final steps of the polishing process. Filter your absinthe through the activated charcoal and remove the darker colors and bitters from your absinthe!
**This charcoal is finely powdered. Powdering increases the surface area of the charcoal exponentially, this means more surface area for impurities to bind to. You will need a coffee filter to use this charcoal as it will definitely end up in your final product if you are not careful. | |
